Racing and touring is hard on liners. Sweat builds up; articulation causes chafing. Replace your SCARPA boot liners with a fresh pair, listed below by model.

4-Pro Flex XT - The Intuition liner for the 4 Quattro XT and 4 Quattro XT Women's boots.

Alien - Updated Intuition liner that comes with the newer Alien boots (since 2019/20). Also known as the Cross Fit Tour Lite liner.

Alien 1.1 - Intuition Crossfit BT Liner for the 2nd version of the Alien 1.0 that we all refer to as the "1.1" edition here at Skimo Co. Big tongue but nothing in the back.

Pro Flex Evo - Replacement liner for your F1 boots. Also a great liner for other boots if you want a thinner Intuition liner (as compared to the Pro Tour). Women's version also available for your F1 women's boot!

Pro Flex TK - Replacement liners for TX Pro boots. Allows for the articulation needed in telemark boots.

Race 4.0 SL - Replacement liners for Alien 4.0 and related boots.

Tour LT - And also Tour LT Women. These are the liners found in the SCARPA F1 LT and F1 LT Women's boots. Typical Intuition foam that also works great in other boots.

Tour LT2 - Replacement liner for the F1 XT, but also very compatible with F1 LT and F1 GT boots.

Question from Brian loeb

I have the Scarpa mastrale RS in size 32. They are a little loose i am looking for a fuller 32 or a 31.5. What do you recommend?
2/22/2022
Answer from Ian C

Hi Brian, by "fuller" do you mean tighter? Assuming you are in the correct shell size, we actually don't carry Scarpa liners in that size but we could special order a set of the Pro Flex Performance or Intuition Pro Tour for you!

Question from Austin Stephens

Hey Skimo Co Crew,
I'm in need of a new liner for my Alien RS, size 27.5.. I don't see any inventory in my size here. Do you recommend another liner that will give similar (if not more race-oriented) performance?

Thank you!
1/26/2022
Answer from Brett S

Thanks for reaching out, Austin. The Ultralight Race Liners in the 7mm thickness would be a good replacement! Either the 27.5 or 28.0 would work.

Question from Erica L

I've got a pair of Scarpa F1 womens (circa 2017) size 25.0 that I need a new pair of liners for. They've got a lot of slosh going on so I'd love a liner that can take up some space, and I wouldn't mind something a bit warmer than came in them (I live in Interior AK). What would my best option be? Thanks!!
1/24/2022
Answer from eric

Erica- If you want to take up room in that boot you should try the Palau Power LT in the same size as your shell. That should snug things up and provide more warmth.

Answer from Will

Hey, should you choose the same size as your shell for the Palau Power LT generally? I also have a pair of '20-21 F1s that have too much slosh after a year of hard touring...

Scarpa Alien
Need to replace trashed liners. What are my options
They do look exactly like these
Size Mondo 290
Use these for Skimo Training and BC guiding

Thanks for reaching out, Milan. If you liked the original liner, the "Alien" liner in a 29.0 from the drop-down menu above would a good option! Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Question from Alex Pond

Hey Guys
I have a pair of Alien 3.0 size 28
Scarpa is now out of any of the liners for the replacement and I have been using an old pair of my PDG2 liners in the interim.
I saw the full sock scarpa liner and thought that would be a great option since the old ankle sock size in the 3.0 is hard to get into anyways, and this you can slide you me foot in from the top and have great coverage to the top of the boot cuff.
Do you have the 28 size in that model? Or would a 29 size down or try and stretch a 27.5?
Thanks!!

Answer from Brett S

Thanks for reaching out, Alex. Either the Palau Ultralight Race Liners in a 5mm or 7mm would work. If you won't heat mold, go with the 5mm. If you will heat mold, go for the 7mm. Whichever thickness you go for, I'd stick with a 28.0. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

Question from Danny Twang

Looking for a new liner to a pair of Scarpa F1 Carbon size 285mm 5.5-6. The original liner is very thin and think I can go a tad thicker. Any suggestion

Thanks,
Danny
1/11/2022
Answer from Zak M

Hey Danny, if you think you need to take up some volume the Pro-Flex Evo line would definitely accomplish that, or the Alien Liner will also be quite similar to the liner that comes in the Scarpa F1 Carbon. Let us know if you have any more questions!

Question from Aaron Libby

I have a pair of Black Diamond Factor MX boots in 27.5 that I've been using for a couple of years now and the liner is well worn out. I was wondering if the Scarpa pro flex g liner would be a good replacement since I can't get the original liners anymore. Are there any reasons those won't work in my Black Diamond Factor MX boots?
12/27/2021
Answer from Tristan M

Hi Aaron,

The Pro Flex G is potentially an option as a replacement liner for your Factor MX boots. However, I am unsure that we would be able to get our hands on a pair for you.

I think an Intuition Pro Tour MV will be a better option, and a pretty close replacement to the stock liner. If you have any further liner questions, feel free to reach out to help@skimo.co!

Question from Mike

I have a F1 LT size 28 after one light season the stock liners got damaged. They have broken in decently, with light toe wiggle room. But sadly they are already damaged (see the photos) i think it is the place where the first pair of BOA cables meet the liner. I like to dial the BOA a little bit while skinning up and bootpacking (did just once) so that the heel stays in place. As the wires are internal and the boa bottom plastic is narrow it does not protect this area. And so my opinion is that the wires cut through. Originally the liners of the F1 LT came with an orange neoprene piece in this area which might either help or worsen it, i dont know, but nowadays its manufactured without the piece.
Is the wire abrasion the reason why the liners are nowhere to be found? Or i am the only one with this problem? Have you dealt with this issue? Which liner Palau or Intuition or any other would you recommend, as the originals are nowhere to be found.
Overall i love the shoes so much, fit, skiability, uphill with ease ...
12/22/2021
Answer from Ian C

Hi Mike, sorry about the trouble! Kudos on the detective work. This is the first time I am hearing of this particular issue but I agree that there could be some friction at the BOA cable/liner instep interface, depending on your foot shape. From the picture it is hard to tell if you are losing performance from the damage, but if you are interested in a replacement, try the Palau Tour Lite Pro!

Answer from Olivier P

Hi, have you heard more about this problem during this season? I have the same problem (bad enough that the seam is unraveling and the elastic instep strap is coming off), and I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to fix it.

Answer from Carbonj

I glued a stout piece of nylon fabric to protect the liner. My wear point are on the tongue.

Question from Didi

I have a pair of 2017 Maestrale RS and i am looking for an replacement liner. What is the difference between the „Pro Flex G“ and the „Pro Flex Performance“ liner?
12/22/2021
Answer from Ian C

Hi Didi, these liners are relatively similar as they come with different generations of the Maestrale/Gea. The biggest difference I could find is the back of the cuff, the part that contacts your calf. The Pro Flex G is reinforced and therefore very rigid there, whereas the Pro Flex Performance allows a little bit more flexion.

Question from Brent

I'm thinking of getting a back-up Alien 1.0 liner. I see there is a size 30, but is there a way to get a 26?
12/3/2021
Answer from Ian C

Hi Brent, that size 30.0 is the last one we've got in stock. We probably won't see more of those this season, but you could find a comparable (slightly thicker) liner in the 26.0 Alien or 7mm Palau Ultralight Race Liners.

Question from Perry

I am looking to get my wife a new pair of boot liners for Christmas for her 2016 Scarpa Women's Freedom SL Freeride Ski Boots size 25.5 and I can't seem to find what liners would fit those boots?? Any help would be great and thank you in advance for your time!!
11/18/2021
Answer from Brett S

Thanks for reaching out, Perry. If they're mostly used for touring, the Intuition Pro Tour in a 26.0 MV would be a great option! If there is a little extra space (e.g. you need to fill volume), getting the HV (high volume) in the size 26 would be the way to go. Currently, we're hopeful our intuition liners will arrive in mid-December. We don't stock the HV cushions, however, we're happy to see if we can special order it for you. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

Question from Travis Mullen

My Alien RS boots are in need of a liner refresh. I was thinking the new F1LT liner might be just the ticket to help drive skis a little better than the stock ones. Any idea when these might be in stock if ever?
10/11/2021
Answer from Zak M

Hey Travis, we should hopefully be expecting some of those liners in by the mid-November time frame. If you were looking for a slightly beefier liner you could also check out the Palau Power LT liner for a little extra stiffness. Let us know if you have any more questions!

Question from Jonathan

I am looking to replace the liners for my Maestrale RS 2016, and was wondering if there would be any considerable difference in using the liner for the F1 (Pro Flex Evo) vs a packed in Pro Tour Liner?

Thank you!
Jon
7/28/2021
Answer from Zak M

Hey Jonathan, there will be some difference between the two liners primarily in the thickness of liners. In reality, either could work and it really just depends on what you are trying to accomplish with the fit of the boot. Either of the liners are highly modulable and can make be worked on to accommodate a variety of boot fitting solutions. Let us know if you have any more questions!

Question from Jon J

How would the Pro Flex Performance work in the F1 LT? Hoping to take up a bit more volume and add some extra warmth and don't mind a little loss of ROM. And I'm pretty sure that the 27.5 would be the proper size for a 28.0 boot, but just want to double check. Thank you so much!
4/27/2021
Answer from eric

Jon- You are correct the 27.5 would be the correct size for a 28.0 F1 LT. The problem with the Pro Flex Performance is that the cuff will probably be to thick to fit in the F1 LT. The better option to take up some volume and might be the Pro Flex Evo in the same size.

Question from Dennis K

I’m looking at the cross fit tour as a replacement for my F1 LT liners. Would you say that these are roughly comparable? One thing I’m noticing is that these lack the Velcro for both the spoiler and the gaiter. Do you have any thoughts on how I might make this liner work for the F1 LT? Thanks!
4/23/2021
Answer from Teddy Young

Hey Dennis, thanks for reaching out! Luckily, the Cross Fit Tour liner has the tongue velcro for the gaiter, but doesn't have any velcro on the back for the spoiler. A few options could be to glue/sew a patch of velcro on the back of the liner, or use a piece of adhesive-backed boot fitting foam instead of the spoiler.

Answer from Dennis K

Oh cool! That all seems reasonable. Thanks!!

Question from Travis Mullen

The liners in my Alien RS boots are on their last legs and in desperate need of replacement. Super happy with the fit of my RS boots, but I could stand a little more power on the decent and I have skinny calf and ankles.

I am wondering if the "new" F1 LT boots have a different liner, and if so would that be a good replacement.
4/13/2021
Answer from Zak M

Hey Travis, the F1 LT liner is a little beefier than the current Alien RS liner, but we currently don't have those liners in stock. If you were looking to take up a substantial amount of volume you could look at the Palau Power LT Liners which will have a thicker cuff and give better downhill performance. A few other options for taking up the overall volume in the boot could be by using boot foam or boot shims.

Working hard on the ups keeps our feet hot leading to bad smells in our liners from the accumulation of bacteria over the long haul. Additionally the wear and tear on the liners was amazing (See Photo) Therefore, I picked up an extra pair to replace the liners from my Aliens that had ~100 days on them. Glad I did because the smell in my garage has finally gone away. Glad there is an option to replace, I recommend it.

I am super psyched to be able to purchased a replacement pair of Cross Fit Tour liners for my two year old Alien RS. The original liners held up great for 150 days of non resort skiing, then my wife threatened to call the DEQ to report a hazmat air quality violation ... Thank you Skimo.com all star team for making this possible!

Question from David R Glennon

I need to replace the liner in a pair of 27.5 Atomic Backland Carbon boots. Seems the Backland 2 liner is hard to get. How do you think a Cross Fit Tour liner, size 27, would do?
3/24/2021
Answer from Jeff M

David, Personally I think it would be pretty good. I use the Alien RS and that liner is a bit different. Intuition has more dense foam in that you usually fine. They are very thick, but great support and feel. As they are designed for a Scarpa boot, it is a 26.5/27, so will fit in the boot and your foot a few mm shorter.
