Backcountry Ski Weights

We weigh every pair of skis that comes into our shop because when it comes to backcountry skiing, every ounce matters. Since most skis are made of a natural product (wood), there is some variability between individual units. On top of that, manufacturer specs aren’t always accurate so we take it upon ourselves to ensure that the weights we tell you are correct.

The table below contains the average weight of each ski model by length, per ski. In general, most skis are within a few ounces of the average, with some models or manufacturers having a bit more variability than others.
